DELIVERY INFORMATION

At UNICORN FURNITURE, we aim to process and dispatch orders promptly and efficiently.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation. During peak periods, promotional events, or high demand, processing times may vary slightly.

Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout and in your order confirmation email. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Most mainland UK deliveries are completed within 2–7 working days from dispatch, depending on location and courier scheduling.

Certain large furniture items are delivered via specialist two-man delivery services. In such cases:

  • Customers will be contacted directly to arrange a suitable delivery slot.

  • Delivery windows may be provided (morning / afternoon).

  • Specific time guarantees cannot be provided.

While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery dates, we are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier network disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic incidents

  • Industrial action

  • Access restrictions

  • Force majeure events

  • Scheduling adjustments

If a delay occurs, customers will be notified where reasonably possible and offered appropriate options.

ACCESS & DELIVERY CONDITIONS

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the delivery address

  • Adequate space for delivery and manoeuvring

  • Accurate delivery information

Large furniture deliveries are typically made to ground floor only unless lift access is available and confirmed in advance.

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Inaccessible property

  • Incorrect address details

  • Absence at arranged delivery time

  • Refusal without prior agreement

Redelivery or return charges may apply.

PARTIAL SHIPMENTS

Where orders contain multiple items, they may be dispatched separately depending on availability and logistics scheduling.

DELIVERY AREAS

We currently deliver within mainland United Kingdom only.

We do not deliver to:

  • Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey)

  • Isle of Man

  • Scilly Isles

  • Shetland & certain Scottish Islands

  • APO/FPO addresses

  • PO Boxes

Additional delivery surcharges may apply to certain postcode areas including (but not limited to):

AB, PA, BT, JE, GY, IV, HS, IM, PO, KA, EH, KW, PH, ZE, TR.

Any applicable surcharge will be displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.

If an item arrives visibly damaged:

  • Note the damage with the delivery driver where possible

  • Contact us within 48 hours

  • Provide clear images of the item and packaging

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect our ability to claim with the courier.

We aim to resolve all genuine transit damage claims promptly.

DELIVERY STATUS & TRACKING

Tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

For specialist furniture deliveries, customers will be contacted directly by the courier to arrange delivery.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to natural events, severe weather, industrial action, transport network disruption or governmental restrictions.
